Consultant, Paediatrics
MBBS, MD Paediatrics, DNB Paediatrics
Dr. Apoorva Agarwal trained at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, one of the busiest children's hospitals in the country. A paediatrician with strong intensive care and newborn care skills, she brings the rigour of a high-volume teaching hospital to everyday child care.

Some hospitals see more children in a day than most clinics see in a month. Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, is one of them. It is where Dr. Apoorva Agarwal completed her MBBS, her MD in Paediatrics, and her Senior Residency, and where she learnt to care for children at every level of complexity, from routine immunisations to the sickest newborns in the NICU.
Dr. Agarwal is trained in the full range of paediatric acute care. She has managed critically ill children in the PICU, NICU and emergency, and is skilled in advanced procedures including neonatal resuscitation, intubation, central venous access, PICC line insertion and exchange transfusions. She is trained in point of care ultrasound (POCUS) for bedside diagnosis in emergencies, and is certified in BLS and PALS.
Her training also runs deeper than acute care. She has rotated through paediatric haematology, oncology, neurology, endocrinology and child development, and is trained in developmental screening tools including INCLEN, VSMS and MCHAT, which help identify neurodevelopmental concerns early. Her research in paediatric haematology-oncology includes a published case report and a thesis on clotting risk in newly diagnosed childhood cancers, presented at national conferences.
At Lavender Lane, Dr. Agarwal sees children for general paediatric consultations, newborn care, immunisations, growth and development monitoring, and acute childhood illnesses.
