Senior Consultant, Developmental & Behavioural Paediatrics
MBBS, MD Paediatrics
A developmental and behavioural paediatrician with over 16 years of experience helping children with autism, developmental delays, and learning and behavioural difficulties. Her approach is family-centred: parents are partners in every plan she makes.

Every child develops at their own pace. But when a parent senses something is different, the wait for answers can feel endless. Dr. Jyoti Bhatia has spent over 16 years shortening that wait.
A developmental and behavioural paediatrician trained at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, Dr. Bhatia works with children facing neurodevelopmental, behavioural, emotional and learning difficulties. She has served as Consultant in Developmental Pediatrics at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, and Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj, and is currently Senior Consultant at Apollo Hospital, Noida. In 2015, she founded the Blossom Child Development Centre in Noida and Greater Noida, building multidisciplinary teams of speech therapists, occupational therapists, special educators and mental health professionals under one roof.
Her clinical philosophy is simple: the family is the intervention. She specialises in parent-mediated approaches, where parents are trained and supported to become their child's most powerful therapists. She is trained in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions for autism, UCLA PEERS for teenagers on the spectrum, and General Movements Assessment for early identification in newborns. She is also a Certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer and regularly conducts parenting workshops and socio-emotional development programmes.
She holds an Honorary Fellowship from the Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics Chapter of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and is a national trainer for the IAP's high risk newborn follow-up and poor school performance modules.
At Lavender Lane, Dr. Bhatia sees children for developmental assessments, autism care, early intervention guidance, behavioural concerns and parenting support.
